GB/Z 42023.2-2022 Reliability of industrial automation devices and systems—Part 2:System reliability
Basic Information
Scope
This document provides guidelines for calculating the reliability data of automated systems that can be simplified as series, parallel, or hybrid systems, based on the reliability data of individual devices and/or subsystems and the presentation of this data. Note: This process only applies to the reliability of automated systems, not to systems that incorporate automated systems, such as process plants. Reliability is included in trustworthiness, and this document primarily studies random hardware failures that affect reliability. Trustworthiness is a term that encompasses time-related quality characteristics, including reliability, availability, recoverability, maintainability, maintenance support performance, and, in some cases, other characteristics such as durability, functional safety, and network security, but these are beyond the scope of this document.
