This standard specifies the determination method of proanthocyanidins in health foods. This standard is applicable to the determination of proanthocyanidins in health foods manufactured with grape seeds, grape skins, sea buckthorn, rose hips, blueberries, French pine bark extracts, and other main raw materials. The detection limit of this standard: The method's limit of detection (LOD) is 1.5×10-4 g/100 g, and the method's limit of quantification (LOQ) is 5.0×10-4 g/100 g. The method's linear range is 10 μg/mL to 150 μg/mL.
