This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, labels and instructions, packaging, transportation, and storage for EBV capsid antigen (VCA) IgA antibody detection kits (hereinafter referred to as "kits").
This standard applies to kits that use enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), chemiluminescence, time-resolved fluorescence, and other methods to qualitatively detect EBV capsid antigen IgA antibodies in human serum/plasma.
