Scope

This standard specifies the test method for assessing the fire resistance of metal valves, pipe fittings, and similar pipeline accessories equipped with elastic seals in ship engineering systems. This standard applies to metal valves, pipe fittings, and similar pipeline accessories (hereinafter referred to as pipeline accessories) in ship engineering systems that are equipped with elastic seals. This standard is used to determine whether the pipeline accessories maintain their sealing integrity and do not suffer any damage that affects their functionality after completing a fire test on a test bench that meets the requirements of GB/T 22219/ISO 19922:2005 under a specified test pressure.
