Scope
This standard specifies the terminology, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. for rapid cooling cabinets and rapid freezing cabinets that use forced air cooling for rapid cooling and rapid freezing of food.
The requirements of this standard apply to rapid cooling cabinets and rapid freezing cabinets used for commercial and similar purposes, which are cooled by motor-driven compression and condensation units.
This standard does not apply to continuous rapid cooling and rapid freezing equipment.
This standard does not apply to vacuum cooling and vacuum freezing equipment.
This standard does not apply to household refrigerators (GB/T 8059) and commercial freezers (SB/T 10794).
