Scope

This standard defines the steps required to complete the loop test, which includes the work from the completion of the loop construction (including installation and point-to-point line checking) to the pre-commissioning in a cold state.
This standard applies to the instrumentation and electrical parts (including PLCs, BASs, DCSs, panel-mounted and field instruments) of new factories and existing factories that need to be expanded/modified.
Except for the parts related to the tested loop (such as the power supply for motor starters or four-wire transmitters), this standard does not include the detailed inspection of other power distribution systems.
