Scope
This standard specifies a test method for determining the fatigue resistance of hydraulic filter elements using high-viscosity liquids. The pressure difference generated by the filter element is set to a predetermined maximum value in a controlled waveform, and the flow fatigue resistance of the filter element is measured under consistent cyclic flow variations.
The method established by this standard is used to test the ability of the filter element to resist the damage caused by the alternating pressure difference generated by cyclic flow variations in the system.
