Scope

This standard specifies the vibration testing methods and vibration quality rating for small gasoline engines. This standard applies to single-cylinder reciprocating piston small gasoline engines with a working speed range of 600 r/min to 14,000 r/min and a power of less than 12 kW. This standard also applies to single-cylinder internal combustion engines with a power of less than 12 kW that use alternative fuels.
