Scope

This part of DB34/T 2844 specifies the design specifications for non-metallic structural components of low-temperature superconducting magnets. This part is applicable to the determination of failure forms caused by the following stresses in low-temperature superconducting magnet systems: a) excessive elastic deformation, including elastic instability; b) excessive plastic deformation; c) brittle fracture; d) plastic instability-incremental instability; e) high strain low-cycle fatigue; f) electrical failures caused by structural damage or wear.
