Scope

This standard specifies the test method for qualitative identification of bamboo fiber and bamboo pulp viscose fiber using near-infrared spectroscopy analysis technology.
This standard is applicable to the qualitative identification of single-component bamboo fiber, hemp fiber (ramie fiber, flax fiber), bamboo pulp viscose fiber, and other viscose fibers.
Note: This standard is not applicable to textiles containing pulp or coatings, but it is applicable to textiles after pulp removal and coating stripping.
