Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, marking, and transportation of bismuth concentrate. This standard is applicable to various bismuth ores and bismuth concentrates obtained by mineral processing from ores that coexist with bismuth, such as tungsten, tin, copper, and molybdenum. It is used for extracting bismuth metal and manufacturing bismuth alloys and compounds. Bismuth-containing materials such as chemically enriched bismuth oxide (bismuth chloride oxide) concentrates can also be implemented in accordance with this standard.
