Scope

Main technical content: The millet food produced by our association is made from millet as the raw material, without any additives. The limits of pollutants shall comply with the provisions of GB 2762-2017 "National Food Safety Standards - Limits of Pollutants in Food" for grains and their products (food category); among which, the lead index is set to ≤0.1 mg/kg, and the cadmium index is set to ≤0.05 mg/kg, which is stricter than the requirements of GB 2762 for the determination of lead in grains and their products ≤0.2 mg/kg, and the determination of cadmium ≤0.1 mg/kg; the microbial limits shall comply with the quality requirements of GB 11766-2008 "National Food Safety Standards - Millet". After searching, there are currently national standards for millet food safety in China, but individual processes and packaging are inconsistent. In accordance with the requirements of the "Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Standardization Law of the People's Republic of China", in order to standardize enterprise production and ensure product quality, our association has formulated enterprise standards that are stricter than the national food safety standards as the basis for our organization's production and economic and trade activities. Now, the lead index is set to ≤0.1 mg/kg, and the cadmium index is set to ≤0.05 mg/kg, which is stricter than the provisions of GB 2762-2017 "National Food Safety Standards - Limits of Pollutants in Food" for grains and their products ≤0.2 mg/kg for lead and ≤0.1 mg/kg for cadmium.
