Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates, and contract (or order form) contents for copper alloy tubes used in pressure gauges (hereinafter referred to as "tubes").
This standard classifies products into two grades according to their intended use:
a) High-precision grade: Suitable for copper alloy tubes used in precision pressure gauges, special pressure gauges, chemical industry-specific pressure gauges, and other instruments.
b) Ordinary grade: Suitable for ordinary pressure gauges, shock-resistant pressure gauges, differential remote transmission pressure gauges, and other instruments, as well as copper alloy tubes used in pressure-bearing applications.
