Scope
This document specifies the transmission protocol for the point-to-point (P2P) signal interface used in LCD displays, including the sender protocol, the receiver protocol, data packets, clock calibration, and other content.
This document specifies two transmission protocol solutions:
—— Transmission protocol solution one: 8-bit/10-bit encoding and decoding transmission protocol;
—— Transmission protocol solution two: 8-bit/9-bit encoding and decoding transmission protocol.
This document is applicable to the point-to-point signal communication interface between the timing controller and the source driver chip used in LCD displays.
