Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, methodological principles, instruments and reagents, sample preparation, testing conditions, testing procedures, and result evaluation, as well as testing reports, for detecting the super-hydrophobic and super-oleophobic properties of nanomaterials.
This standard is applicable to the detection of the super-hydrophobic and super-oleophobic properties of materials processed by nanotechnology. The surface of the materials should be uniform, smooth, non-deformable (under the action of the vertical component of liquid surface tension), and isotropic solid surfaces.
