Scope

Scope: This document specifies the scope of registration and management of breeding archives for breeding sheep, as well as the content of the archives and their management. This document applies to the collection, storage, and use of information in the registration and management of breeding archives for breeding sheep. **Main Technical Content:** 5. Archive Content: - Production records of sheep herds, such as physical measurements, identification records, weighing records, culling of sheep, herd adjustments, mating records, lambing records, ear tags, and original records, as well as summary tables. - Feeding management records, including feed formulations, daily ration composition, feeding methods, and water supply. - Disease prevention and control records, such as daily barn disinfection, epidemic prevention, vaccine injections, parasite control, drug baths, and disease treatment records. - Breeding sheep cards and related supporting materials: 1) Breeding ram cards and breeding ewe cards, see Appendices A and B. 2) Individual physical identification record forms, see Appendix C. 3) Lamb weaning identification record forms, see Appendix D. 4) Reproduction record forms, see Appendix E. 5) Weight gain effect registration forms, see Appendix F. - Investigation outlines, investigation records, and investigation summary reports. - Conference documents and minutes related to breeding and hybrid improvement. - Experimental design plans, records, and summary reports related to breeding and hybrid improvement. - Relevant published articles and books. - Original materials, implementation status, conclusion reports, and award materials for project applications. - Other relevant pictures and audio-visual materials related to breeding and hybrid improvement. 6. Archive Management: Breeding archives should be stored in dedicated cabinets by specialized personnel. All breeding and hybrid improvement personnel should submit al
