Scope

This standard specifies the method of indicating the grades of steel plates and steel strips used for the cargo compartments of trucks, the content of orders, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This standard applies to hot-rolled steel plates (including hot-rolled sheared steel plates) and steel strips (including longitudinally sheared steel strips) with a thickness of 1.2 mm to 12.0 mm, used for cold forming of cargo compartments of trucks and for wear-resistant parts.
