Basic Information
Scope
Scope: This document specifies the pre-sowing preparation, propagation material preparation, propagation techniques, nursery management, harvesting and storage, and seed tuber grading related to the production of seed tubers of Globularia japonica. This document is applicable to the production of seed tubers of Globularia japonica. Main technical content: 1. Terms and definitions: There are no terms or definitions requiring definition in this document. 2. Pre-sowing preparation: 2.1 Land preparation: In March to April, firstly, the soil cultivation layer is deeply plowed and loosened to remove stones, weeds, tree roots and other debris, so as to make the land flat, with fine and uniform soil clods, and 50 kg/mu of quicklime is evenly scattered on the soil. 2.2 Construction of shading sheds: The shading sheds are about 2.5m high, with a shading degree of 40% to 70%, and a suitable light intensity range of 600μmol.m-2.s-1 to 1000μmol.m-2.s-1. 2.3 Application of base fertilizer and ridge formation: 1000 kg of organic fertilizer and 50 kg of compound fertilizer are applied per mu, mixed and scattered evenly, and then ridge formation is carried out. The ridge width is 1.0m to 1.2m, the ditch width is 0.2m to 0.3m, and the ditch depth is 0.2m to 0.3m. 3. Propagation material preparation: 3.1 Seeds: 3.1.1 Seed treatment: The collected fruits are soaked in clean water for 24 hours, then the fruit peels are rubbed off, and the seeds are placed in a cool and ventilated place to dry. Seeds with fullness and no mold are reserved for use. 3.1.2 Seedling tray preparation: The seedling tray is 54cm long and 28cm wide, with 72 holes per tray, a diameter of 4cm, and a depth of 7cm. The substrate of peat soil, coconut fiber, and red soil (1:1:1) is filled in the seedling tray. 3.1.3 Sowing: The processed seeds are sown in the seedling tray, one seed per hole. The first watering is thoroughly, and then the substrate moisture content is maintained between 50% and 70%, and the seedli
