Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, and storage requirements for cashew nut phenol-modified phenolic resins (hereinafter referred to as cashew nut phenol-modified phenolic resins) used in composite materials. This standard applies to thermoplastic modified phenolic resin products obtained by replacing part of the phenol with cashew nut phenol, polycondensing with formaldehyde under acidic conditions, and removing small molecules by vacuum treatment.
