Scope

This standard establishes an indicator system and method for evaluating the risk of invasive alien tree species to natural and semi-natural ecosystems, including the evaluation of the invasiveness or the degree of spread and invasion of alien tree species, the evaluation of their impact on ecosystems, the classification of the risk of invasion of alien tree species, and the evaluation of the difficulty of controlling them. It also proposes corresponding graded management countermeasures.
This standard applies to all tree species introduced from outside the People's Republic of China or from a specific region within the country through various methods, as well as any organs or tissues that can be used for reproduction.
