Scope
This standard specifies the analytical method for determining the content of aluminum, silicon, vanadium, iron, nickel, sodium, calcium, zinc, and phosphorus in residual fuel oil using inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometers.
This standard is applicable to the determination of various elements in residual fuel oil, the range of which is detailed in Table 1.
