Scope
This standard specifies the principles, reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, reagent preparation and storage, operating procedures, result calculation and presentation, and precision requirements for the determination of soy isoflavones (daidzein, genistein, daidzin, genistin, genistein aglycone, and genistein) content by high-performance liquid chromatography.
This standard is applicable to the determination of soy isoflavones content in soybeans, soy milk powder, and fermented soybean paste.
The minimum detection limit of the test method specified in this standard is 2.5 mg/kg.
