Scope

Scope: This document specifies the terms and definitions, communication requirements, functional requirements, equipment requirements, and control requirements for the implementation of the Internet of Things (IoT) in intelligent farming equipment. This document is applicable to the design, construction, and maintenance of intelligent farming equipment using IoT technology. Main technical content: This standard covers four aspects: intelligent monitoring, intelligent detection, intelligent regulation, and data interoperability. It connects various monitoring devices in the farm through an intelligent farming network, enabling remote control and intelligent monitoring of farm equipment. With simple and practical veterinary medical sensing devices, livestock physiological indicators in the farm can be self-tested, and the indicator data is transmitted to the farm database via fixed or wireless networks. At the same time, value-added services such as emergency calls, expert consultations, and health management are provided, realizing real-time intelligent monitoring technology. Additionally, mobile location technology can be used to monitor and track individual monitoring targets. Intelligent regulation is based on the "Digital Farm" theory and leverages 3S technologies (geographic information systems, global positioning systems, and remote sensing) to deeply develop and apply spatial information resources, building information infrastructure and systems serving localized farms and regional information exchange between farms. Real-time remote monitoring, transmission, storage, and management services based on broadband internet connect decentralized and independent image collection points, enabling unified monitoring, storage, and management across farms, between farms, between regions, and even between cities.
