Scope

This standard specifies the main features of a terrestrial digital television broadcasting transmission system that complies with GB 20600-2006, and provides guidance on establishing a broadcasting network that meets the requirements of GB 20600-2006, including a general description of the network structures of single-frequency networks and multi-frequency networks, program distribution, the possibility and constraints of sharing transmission sites with analog television, and network planning.
This standard applies to terrestrial digital television broadcasting systems that comply with GB 20600-2006, and can be used as a technical basis for establishing terrestrial digital television broadcasting networks, as well as for standardizing and guiding the implementation and operation of broadcasting networks.
