Scope

This document describes the liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry determination method for 11 approved hair dyes, including 5-amino-6-chloro-ortho-cresol, in hair dye products. It covers the principles, reagents and materials, instrumentation, experimental steps, data processing, recovery rate, and precision. This document is applicable to the determination of 1-hydroxyethyl-4,5-diaminopyrazole sulfate, hydroxyethyl p-phenylenediamine sulfate, 2-amino-4-hydroxyethylanisole, 2,6-dihydroxyethylaminobenzene hydrochloride, 2-methyl-5-hydroxyethylphenol, 4-hydroxypropylamine-3-nitrobenzene, hydroxyethyl-2-nitro-p-toluidine, 5-amino-6-chloro-ortho-cresol, 3-nitro-o-hydroxylaniline, and 2-amino-6-chloro-4-nitrobenzene in hair dye products. The detection limit of 1-hydroxyethyl-4,5-diaminopyrazole sulfate and 3-nitro-o-hydroxylaniline in this document is 3 mg/kg, and the quantification limit is 10 mg/kg; the detection limit of hydroxyethyl p-phenylenediamine sulfate, 2-amino-4-hydroxyethylanisole, and 2-methyl-5-hydroxyethylphenol is 0.5 mg/kg, and the quantification limit is 2 mg/kg; the detection limit of 2,6-dihydroxyethylaminobenzene and hydroxyethyl-2-nitro-p-toluidine is 0.15 mg/kg, and the quantification limit is 0.5 mg/kg; the detection limit of 5-amino-6-chloro-ortho-cresol and 2-amino-6-chloro-4-nitrobenzene is 10 mg/kg, and the quantification limit is 40 mg/kg.
