GB/T 26693-2011 Timekeeping instruments—Movements—Types,dimensions and nomenclature

Scope

This standard specifies the shape, assembly dimensions, and names of the movements of mechanical watches and pointer quartz watches.
This standard applies to the following five types of movements.
—— Type 1: round;
—— Type 2: round-cut;
—— Type 3: round-double-cut;
—— Type 4: 5 1/2;
—— Type 5: 6 3/4 × 8.
Note: The unit "mm" (let) is a French unit used in business to approximately indicate the size of the movement, not an international unit. Currently, the types of movements expressed in terms of let used in the watchmaking industry are just the approximate values of the actual millimeter size converted into let.
