This specification stipulates the metrological characteristics, calibration conditions, and calibration methods of the transducers (also known as probes) of ultrasonic flaw detectors of Type A displays.
This specification is applicable to the calibration of probes with a center frequency in the range of 05 MHz to 15 MHz.
