Scope
This standard is applicable to the detection of fully welded joints of pressure-bearing equipment made of ferritic steel with a wall thickness of 3.5 mm to 200 mm, and it is also applicable to the ultrasonic phased array detection of welded joints of in-service pressure-bearing equipment. This standard is not applicable to the ultrasonic phased array detection of welded joints of pressure-bearing equipment made of austenitic steel.
