Scope

Scope: This document specifies the terms and definitions, disinfection measures, immunization against major diseases, and control and monitoring of major diseases for beef cattle in the Alukolqing Banner Beef Cattle Association member units. This document applies to the comprehensive prevention and control of major diseases in beef cattle farming of member units of the Alukolqing Banner Beef Cattle Association; Main technical content: 4. Disinfection measures 4.1 Hygiene disinfection 4.1.1 The environmental hygiene quality of beef cattle farms (households) shall comply with the requirements specified in NY/T 388. 4.1.2 Highly effective, low-toxicity, and low-residue disinfectants shall be used. The disinfectant application methods shall be in accordance with the product instructions. Disinfectants shall be alternately used, and the disinfection effect shall be monitored. 4.2 Disinfection methods 4.2.1 The following disinfectants shall be used in accordance with the concentrations specified in NY/T 5030: hypochlorite, organic iodine mixtures, peracetic acid, Xin Jie Mi, and coal tar. 4.2.2 Disinfection of cattle sheds, pens, environments with cattle, farm roads, vehicles entering the farm area, and surrounding areas. 4.2.3 Hand washing with aqueous solutions of Xin Jie Mi, organic iodine mixtures, or coal tar at concentrations specified in NY/T 5030, and disinfection of work clothes and rubber boots. 4.2.4 Install ultraviolet disinfection lamps at the personnel entrance and irradiate personnel for at least 5 minutes. 4.2.5 Fumigation disinfection of feeding utensils and equipment in a closed room or container using formaldehyde. 4.3 Disinfection system 4.3.1 Disinfect the areas around cattle sheds with a 2% caustic soda or lime solution once a week.
