Scope

This standard specifies the general test methods for determining trace moisture using the Karl Fischer coulometric method and electrolysis. This standard is applicable to the determination of trace moisture in fluorinated olefins used as refrigerants. However, the electrolysis method is not suitable for fluorinated olefins used in low-pressure refrigerants.
