Scope
This standard specifies the requirements and/or measures for eliminating hazards and limiting risks on band-saw machines with manual feed (hereinafter referred to as machine tools).
This standard applies to machine tools used for cutting solid wood, particle board, fiberboard, plywood, and materials with plastic veneers or edging.
This standard does not apply to handheld machine tools and desktop machine tools.
