Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of blast furnace axial flow compressors, the system composition and safety equipment configuration, normal operation, maintenance, fault handling, and overhaul. This standard applies to fully static blade adjustable axial flow compressors of blast furnaces with a capacity of 1000m3 or more in the metallurgical industry.
