Scope

This document specifies and publishes the registered CBEFF maintainer formats defined by the CBEFF maintainer ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 37, and stipulates the registered CBEFF maintainer format types of these formats (in accordance with ISO/IEC 197851) and all the ASN.1 object identifiers generated. This document is applicable to biometric identification organizations that choose to use the corresponding maintainer formats to meet the BIR's interoperability requirements.
