Scope

This standard specifies the method of designating grades, codes, and classifications, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates for acid-resistant hot-rolled wide steel strips used in oil and gas pipelines. This standard applies to acid-resistant hot-rolled wide steel strips and sheared steel plates with a thickness of not more than 25.4 mm, which are used in oil and gas pipelines.
