Scope

This standard specifies the ordering content, dimensions, appearance and weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates for 9%-12% Cr series steel continuous casting round billets used in super-supercritical high-pressure boiler tubes. This standard applies to billets used in the manufacturing of seamless steel tubes by tube rolling after central drilling or tube making after central extrusion and punching processes.
