Scope
This standard specifies the preparation of originals, various technical aspects of microfilming, quality requirements, retrieval, and storage in the production of meteorological archives. This standard applies to the microfilming of all types of meteorological archives, but does not apply to the microfilming of COM (computer output film), satellite cloud maps, and color films.
