Scope

Scope: This document specifies the functional requirements, equipment requirements, and control requirements for the digital precision feeding management system for pigs. This document is applicable to the precision management of pig farms and can also be referenced by other farms for implementation. Main technical content: The construction of an intelligent precision feeding management system includes the formulation of breeding management theories, the construction of hardware facilities and equipment, software platforms, system platforms, and data analysis and mining. Pigs wear electronic ear tags, which are read by ear tag reading devices to determine the identity of the pigs and transmit the information to the computer. At the same time, weight sensors transmit the pig's weight to the computer. Managers set the pig's pregnancy date and other basic information. The system calculates the daily feeding amount required by the pig based on the data obtained from the terminal (ear tag number, weight) and the data set by the computer manager (pregnancy date), and then transmits this feeding amount to the feeding equipment in portions and at specific times to feed the pig. At the same time, the system obtains other information about the pig population for statistical calculation. It provides accurate data for farm managers to analyze the company's operations.
