Scope
Scope: This document specifies the technical requirements for the prevention and control of citrus psyllids (Diaphorina citri), including pest monitoring, prevention principles, control methods, waste disposal, and file management. This document is applicable to the prevention and control of citrus psyllids. Main technical content: 3. Terminology and definitions: There are no terms or definitions requiring definition in this document. 4. Prevention principles: Prevention-oriented and integrated prevention and control. Through pest monitoring and forecasting, combined with the citrus phenological period, agricultural prevention, physical prevention, and chemical prevention methods are applied to quickly and efficiently control and kill psyllids and reduce virus transmission. 5. Pest monitoring: 5.1 Monitoring period and objects: From before the spring shoots sprout to when the autumn shoots turn green each year, with monitoring conducted once every 7 days to count the number of adults and nymphs. 5.2 Monitoring methods: Through visits and field surveys, monitoring points are selected, and the specific methods refer to GB/T 35334 for implementation. The pest situation base is investigated by direct observation. At each monitoring point, 5 directions (east, south, west, north, and center) are selected, with 2 branches (new shoots or autumn-winter shoots of the previous year) investigated at each direction in each tree. The number of adults and nymphs on each tree is counted, and the results are filled in Table A.1 in Appendix A. 6.
