Scope
This document specifies the repair methods, inspection and testing after repair, and repair reports for mobile pressure vessels, gas cylinders, pipelines, and loading and unloading accessories.
This document applies to the repair of tanks, gas cylinders, pipelines, and loading and unloading accessories of railway tank cars, automobile tank cars, tank containers, long pipe trailers, and pipe bundle containers.
This document does not apply to:
a) the repair of mobile pressure vessels whose tank working pressure is less than 0.1 MPa during normal transportation (including those that temporarily withstand a pressure of 0.1 MPa or more during loading and unloading);
b) the repair of mobile pressure vessels whose tanks or gas cylinders are made of non-metallic materials;
c) the repair of the running device components of mobile pressure vessels;
d) the repair of on-board fuel and on-board power gas cylinders of mobile pressure vessels;
e) the modification of mobile pressure vessels.
