Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the chemical oxygen demand (COD) in high-chlorine and high-ammonia wastewater.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the chemical oxygen demand in high-chlorine and high-ammonia wastewater generated during the production of refinery catalysts and corresponding catalytic materials. The chloride ion concentration in the wastewater shall not exceed 2,000 mg/L, the ammonium ion concentration shall not exceed 1,000 mg/L, and the CODCr shall be greater than 50 mg/L.
