Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates, and contract (or order form) content for tungsten tubes. This standard applies to tungsten tubes produced by powder metallurgy. The products can be used in quartz glass continuous melting furnaces, sapphire crystal growth furnaces, high-temperature sintering furnaces, melting pots, and thermal field components.
