Scope

Scope: This standard specifies the scope of high-yield cultivation techniques for rice variety Salt Jing 927, normative reference documents, terms and definitions, preliminary preparations, land preparation, seedling cultivation, transplanting, fertilization, water management, integrated prevention and control of diseases, pests, and weeds, and related requirements for harvesting. This standard is applicable to the Salt Jing 927 rice production in Panjin coastal rice-growing areas and similar ecological regions. Main technical contents: 1. Land preparation: Land preparation includes plowing, rotary tillage, embankment construction, spreading base fertilizer, and water harrowing. 2. Seedling cultivation: Seed quality requirements, sun-drying seeds, removing husks, soaking and disinfecting seeds, germinating, preparing seedling substrates, sowing, and managing seedling fields. 3. Transplanting: Transplanting from May 15 to May 20 with a row spacing of 30 cm and a hole spacing of 16 cm to 18 cm, with 4 to 5 seedlings per hole and a basic seedling density of (75 to 105) × 104 seedlings/ha.
