Scope
This standard specifies the requirements and/or measures for removing hazards and limiting risks of NC (CNC) woodworking drilling machines and NC (CNC) woodworking engraving machines (hereinafter referred to as machine tools, see Figures 1 to 9), applicable to machine tools used for cutting solid wood, particle board, fiberboard, plywood, and materials with plastic veneers or edging materials.
This standard includes all hazards related to the machine tools, as detailed in Chapter 4.
This standard does not apply to machine tools with edging functions.
