DB14/ 1928-2019 Wastewater Integrated Emission Standards

Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of the comprehensive discharge standards for wastewater, the requirements for water pollutant discharge control, the requirements for water pollutant sampling and monitoring, and their implementation and supervision. This standard applies to all discharge units within the administrative area of Shanxi Province, except for rural domestic wastewater discharge of less than 500 m3/d, in terms of the management of water pollutant discharge into receiving water bodies, as well as the environmental impact assessment of construction projects, the issuance of pollution discharge permits, the design of water environmental protection and pollution prevention facilities, the completion acceptance, and the discharge management after operation. This standard applies to the legally permitted discharge of water pollutants, the site selection of newly established pollution sources and the management of existing sources in special protection areas, in accordance with the relevant provisions of laws, regulations and rules such as the Water Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China and the Environmental Impact Assessment Law of the People's Republic of China. After the promulgation of this standard, if the national water pollutant discharge standards newly formulated, revised or amended are more stringent than the pollutant control limits in this standard in part or in whole, the corresponding water pollutant discharge limits shall be strictly implemented. If the relevant requirements of local, industry-specific, or basin-specific discharge standards are more stringent than those in this standard, the requirements of the local, industry-specific, or basin-specific discharge standards shall be implemented.
