Scope

This standard specifies the definitions, film formats and sizes, slide layouts, and film roll directions for 35 mm double-frame and single-frame slides.
This standard applies to the production specifications of 35 mm double-frame and single-frame slides, whether with or without sound. It does not apply to 35 mm photos taken with personal cameras, as the image sizes of these photos are included in ISO 1754.
