Scope
This part of GB/T 21451 specifies the accuracy, installation, commissioning, calibration, and inspection of automatic level gauges used for measuring the level of oil and liquid petroleum products, and provides guidelines for the use of automatic level gauges (ALGs) in trade transactions. This part is applicable to the measurement of the level of oil and liquid petroleum products stored in pressurized tanks with a vapor pressure not exceeding 4 MPa using immersion and non-immersion automatic level gauges. This part is not applicable to the level measurement of ALGs used in caves and frozen storage tanks.
