Scope
Scope: This document specifies the terms and definitions for the cultivation of Pujiang tea gardens, site selection and construction, tea tree planting, field management, harvesting, and recordkeeping requirements. This document applies to the cultivation of tea gardens in Pujiang County. Main technical content: 1. Environmental requirements 1.1 It shall comply with the provisions of NY/T 391. The soil should have a deep soil layer with an effective soil layer ≥60 cm, a pH of 4.5–6.5, and rich and balanced nutrients. The organic matter content in the 0–45 cm soil layer should be ≥15 g/kg, the effective nitrogen content ≥120 mg/kg, the effective potassium content ≥100 mg/kg, and the effective phosphorus content ≥20 mg/kg. Elements such as magnesium and zinc should be present in sufficient quantities. The groundwater level should be above 100 cm, with an annual precipitation of more than 1,000 mm and a cumulative temperature above 10°C for more than 3,700°C. The annual relative humidity should be above 70%. 1.2 Site selection requirements - It is recommended to select semi-mountainous or hilly sites with a slope of less than 25°, away from factories, residential areas, and main roads. 1.3 Road layout Based on the scale, topography, and geomorphology of the tea garden, a reasonable layout of tea garden roads, including main roads, branch roads, and operational roads, should be designed. The roads should be interconnected and kept clean and smooth. 1.4 Drainage and irrigation facilities - A reasonable layout of drainage, storage, and irrigation systems should be established, with the ability to irrigate and drain. Conditional tea gardens should establish modern water-saving irrigation systems such as sprinkler irrigation and drip irrigation, as well as integrated fertilization and irrigation facilities. 2 Tea tree planting 2.1 Variety selection - Based on local soil and climate conditions and the types of tea suitable for processing, a reasonable allocation of tea tr
