Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the performance characteristics and calibration methods of data acquisition software. This standard covers: -- The minimum specifications provided by DAQ manufacturers to describe the performance of the analog-to-digital conversion module (ADM) of DAQ; -- The standard test strategy used to verify the requirements of the minimum specifications; -- The minimum calibration information required for the ADM stored on DAQ; -- The minimum calibration software requirements for external calibration and self-calibration of the ADM of DAQ. This standard is applicable to DAQs for low-frequency signal conversion.
Examples: Low-frequency signal conversion applications in equipment control, vibration measurement, vibration diagnosis, acoustics, ultrasound measurement, temperature measurement, pressure measurement, power electronics measurement, etc.
