Scope
This standard specifies the rules for magnetic separation tests, test devices and equipment, samples, test procedures, test data processing, and the preparation of test reports. This standard is applicable to magnetic enrichment of ferrous metal ores, magnetic separation of non-ferrous and rare metal ores, removal of impurities from non-metallic ores by magnetic separation, and magnetic recovery and recycling of magnetic heavy media in coal preparation.
