Scope

This document specifies the design, manufacture, installation and commissioning, operation and maintenance, and grid-source coordination of the excitation system in hydropower plants. This document is applicable to the technical supervision of the static rectifier excitation system in hydropower plants with a single-machine capacity of 10MW or more. The technical supervision of other types of excitation systems can be implemented with reference to this document.
